SEACO to observe foundation day

Imphal, August 02 2015: South East Asia Cultural Organisation (SEACO) has extended its heartfelt greetings to people on its foundation day which is to be observed on August 5, Wednesday.

May the celebration of the foundation day bring prosperity, peace, happiness and unity in the state, said a release by president of SEACO.

Expressing concern over the deteriorating socio-economic status of the state, the president also called upon the people of Manipur to protect themselves from the hostile forces of globalization.

Protection and development of a community including culture, language and tradition is universally accepted and every indigenous people of Manipur must make best contribution to safeguard their identity, said the release.
