One arrested with 135 gm heroin

Imphal, November 27 2024: Kakching district commando unit arrested one Md Rousan (24) s/o Md Mohammad Kadir of Sora Karachi, Thoubal and recovered 135 gm of heroin during checking-frisking operation along the Pallel-Chandel road on Tuesday.

According to a report, the commando team halted a Maruti Alto car (WB24K 6291) around 5 pm Tuesday and on checking discovered 11 soap cases containing the heroin.

Md Rousan, who was driving the car has been arrested and handed over to Kakching police station along with the seized items.
