Imphal, April 19 2013 :
Multiple bandhs have crippled Manipur to the extreme.
Even as the bandh on the driver murder bandh is underway, the Zeliangrong organisations have appealed the transporters to extend their co-operations as the total bandh along the two national highways leading to Manipur is all set to begin from the midnight of April 21 .
All Zeliangrong Students Union (AZSU), the Zeliangrong Youth Front (ZYF) and the Zeliangrong Students Union, Manipur (ZSUM) had earlier announced to impose the bandh demanding the safe release of school girl Alice Kamei who is reportedly in the custody of the militant outfit RPF/PLA.
The bandh will continue as long as Alice Kamei is in the custody of the militant outfit, said the three Zeliangrong organisations.
