Snake bite victim saved

Imphal, June 09 2018:
Keithelmanbi Battalion and Tulihal Battalion of 9 Sector Assam Rifles, under aegis of IGAR (South) saved the lives of several snake bite victims.
Lunmilnlam (5 years), a resident of village Sadar Joute, Smt Bijeta Devi (43), resident of Iromeijaro and Ambrajita Devi (52) were bitten by snakes in different incidents and were immediately rushed to the unit hospital of both the units.
The victim was readily attended by the medical team under the Regimental Medical Officer.
The timely action of Assam Rifles not only saved the precious human lives but also reinforced good faith among the locals.
