AR organises tree plantation drive

Imphal, August 17 2024: As part of its environment initiatives, Assam Rifles on Saturday organised a mass tree plantation drive in collaboration with the village authorities and residents of Kasong village in Kamjong district.

A total of 38 locals, including four representatives from Kasong Village Council, participated in the mass tree plantation drive.

During the drive, 2000 saplings were planted along the Kasong-Sorde road, which is part of the state highway 102A, and around the village, a PRO IGAR (S) release said.
