Kalika Jyotish Mandir, Wangkhei Ningthem Pukhri Mapal extended monetary and material assistance to Koirengei fire victims.
Kalika Jyotish Mandir founder Acharya Manoharmayum Barish Deva Sharma handed over rice, dal, oil and Rs 3000 to the victims, who have been taking shelter in a relief camp opened at the compound of Koirengei Welfare Youth Club and Koirengei Nupi Marup since October 21 .

It may be mentioned that shops and houses numbering around 10 were reduced to cinders in a fire that broke out at Koirengei on October 21 .
One woman and a minor boy died and another woman was injured in the incident.
