Ukhrul, August 17 2024: A two-day free medical camp sponsored by Khashim Vashum, Minister of Transport and Veterinary & Animal Husbandry Services was successfully conducted at Kuingai and Challou village on August 16 and 17 .

The free medical camp was held at the villages located along the Indo-Myanmar border under Chingai Assembly Constituency under the theme "My People's Health, My Priority" .

The medical team consisted of Dr Thotchanhor Raikhan, MO Jessami PHC: Dr Woryosing Shimrah MO Chingai; nurses M Cherish and V Philanam and Pearson Chamroy, Malaria Supervisor, MPW.

The team rendered medical consultations and distributed free medicines to over 400 patients from the two villages.

Kuingai village headman Solomon NK and Challou Village Mantri Moses Shatsang on behalf of the villagers blessed and expressed their gratitude to Minister Khashim Vashum.
