Report on COVID-19 in Myanmar rubbished

Imphal, March 04 2020:
Following reports in some sections of the local media and which was circulated on social media sites today about confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Myanmar, the Director of the State Health Department has issued a notice clarifying that the NCDC (Ministry of Health & Family Welfare) New Delhi and the WHO International Health Regulation (New Delhi) have confirmed that there are no reports of the virus in Myanmar as of now.
On the other hand, the notice further mentioned that screening is being done continuously at Moreh Gate No 1, 2 and the Integrated Check Post (ICP) .
Myanmar has also stated that there is no case there.
