"Deceased man yet to be identified"

Imphal, August 17 2024: Imphal police have released the description of a deceased man for identification.

The man was found lying "unconscious" near the public toilet of North AOC, Imphal yesterday at around 3.20 pm.

When the police brought him to RIMS, the doctors declared him dead.

The cause of the death is not known, and a case of UD (unnatural death) has been registered, said the police.

The body is being kept at RIMS mortuary for identification and postmortem examination.

The body will be disposed of if no one claims it by August 19, said the police.

The man is about 5.5 feet tall, has swarthy complexion and is medium built.

He has black curly hair and an elongated face.

He has a tattoo marked "BIBICHA" along with a double love sign on his right hand.

He was found wearing a blue and white colour full sleeves shirt, pairs of black jeans and navy blue shoes.
