Imphal, December 24 2010:
A man who shot explicit sex scenes using mobile phones besides indulging in the sexual acts for circulation through MMS by giving titles to the sex scenes as either RIMS Sulabh or RIMS ICU, has been apprehended by RIMS Medical Superintendent Prof Y Mohen and later handed over to police .
Speaking to media persons, Prof Mohen said that as soon as he received one sex clipping through the mobile phone, he had an inkling that the woman shown in the clipping was a staff of RIMS.
This was confirmed from the lady staff herself .
Following this discovery, Prof Mohen had been looking for the man.
At about 11.30 am today, Prof Mohen received a report that a man was abusing a woman near PMR block inside RIMS campus.
Soon he moved to the spot along with his escorts.
On reaching there, a man was pulling a woman holding her hand.
The women turned out to be the one shown in the earlier video clipping .
On being questioned about his identity, the man identified himself as one Dolendro.
At this Prof Mohen realised that Dolendro was the man he had been looking for.
Immediately, Dolendro was pulled up.
The full identity of the man handed over to Lamphel Police has been established as Thangjam Dolendro (29) s/o late Bihari of Bamon Kampu Mayai Leikai in Imphal East.
It has also been discovered that Dolendro had an affair with the victim's sister.
Taking advantage of their relationship, Dolendro took the victim to Blue Bird Cafe at Lamphel on June 7 this year as she was coming out after work from RIMS.
Inside the cafe, Dolendro using a sedative or some other means had sex with the victim and the scene was recorded on mobile phone camera.
Dolendro eloped the victim's sister the same night.
Shattered by this debauchery and criminal tendency of Dolendro which has ruined both the sisters, the victim's sister had complained to many NGOs but there was no positive response, Prof Mohen said as the victims narrated to him.
Lamphel Police have registered a case and launched investigation into criminal act.
