Mumbai rape attempt case settled

The Naga Students' Union, Mumbai has settled the case of the reported rape attempt of a girl by two Naga boys in Mumbai some few days back.
In a statement, the NSUM informed that the case was settled after hearing the case during a meeting convened by the students' body on June 23 wherein both the accused and victim parties were present.
Accordingly, the two accused boys had tendered apology to the victim party and the NSUM apart from dispatching a letter of 'immoral' and 'criminal deeds' of the boys to their respective parents and Churches.
At the same time, the NSUM has also cautioned all concerned to refrain from such incidents in future while warning of taking stringent actions against any trespasser.
