Dr Lorho further stated that he has decided to adopt Daili village under SAGY as Daili is a beautiful village comprehensively inhabited by various tribal communities along with some Meiteis and Nepalis adding that the village has the potential to become one of the most beautiful villages in the country.
"SAGY is not a project where the government is the giver and villagers are the receivers.
It is a programme where one needs to introspect deeply for what he or she could contribute to the society for the welfare of the people for harmonious and peaceful co-existence", he stated.
"However, there is something that is blocking each and every one of us from taking up a new initiative or a new step to bring new development for a better and harmonious environment.
So let us do away with hatred, fear, enmity, etc, amongst us and move forward to contribute for a better tomorrow.
Let us make ourselves a model to make Daili model village more beautiful and more prosperous", the MP added.
