Diabetes detection camp conducted

Imphal, April 02 2023: Lions Club of Imphal City in association with Friends' Union Club, Khongnang Pheidekpi organised a free diabetes detection camp at the club's premises on Sunday.

More than 100 individuals had blood sugar and blood pressure examined during the camp.

According to Lions Club of Imphal City president Th Ibomcha, the camp was organised as part of its civic action programme and facilitate diagnosis test for diabetes and blood pressure to the people living in the outskirts of Imphal city, who could not visit hospitals for the same due to various reasons.

Advice was given to people who were detected with these health problems and asked to consult the doctor, he said.
