Assam Rifles rescues three from Kuki area

Imphal, April 16 2024:
A team of 22 Assam Rifles stationed at Kangchup rescued three disoriented Meetei who reportedly wandered close to the Kuki dominated Twikon village around 10 am Tuesday.
According to an AR officer, upon receiving information about three disoriented Meetei in a red coloured Toyota car straying towards the Kuki village, the AR team from COB Kangchup acted swiftly and traced the three individuals and rescued them without any harm.
The three identified as Rohem Singh, Momocha Singh and Arun Singh are said to be staff members of Asian hospital and had inadvertently ventured into the Kuki area due to disorientation while traveling from Imphal.
