Imphal, August 26 2024: Assam Rifles conducted a lecture programme on 'How to Join the Armed Forces' at Phoubakchao High School in Imphal West district on Sunday.

In a release, PRO IGAR (S) informed that the lecture was part of Pradhan Mantri Schools for Rising India (PM-SHRI) scheme and an ongoing initiative by the AR to educate and inspire the youth about career opportunities in the armed forces.

The lecture provided students with a detailed overview of the recruitment process, various roles available within the AR, and benefits of a career in the armed forces.

According to the PRO, the session attended by almost 100 students of the High School figured question and answer segment, allowing participants to interact directly with the AR representatives and address their queries.
