Thoubal, August 20 2024: A day-long seminar on the topic "Manipur Sahitya Chaokhatlakpa Amadi Lolgi Yawol" was jointly organised by IQAC Seminar Committee and Manipuri Department of YK College, Wangjing in connection with the celebration of Manipuri Language Day at the college's mini conference hall on Tuesday.

The inaugural function of the seminar was attended by College principal Dr S Giri, Chemistry Department head associate professor Dr L Sanahal and English Department associate professor P Samarendra as presidium members.

During the seminar, MU Manipuri Department assistant professor Dr L Anand, Assam University, Silchar resource scholars Th Somokanta Luwang and Naorem Shilsila Devi, Mangolnganbi College, Ningthoukhong assistant professor Dr N Apanba Meitei, YK College Manipuri Department head N Binoi and Dr Fimel Lambeswor Singh presented papers on different topics as resource persons.
