Float campaign on vaccination launched

Imphal, September 21 2021:
World Vision India launched its float campaign on Covid-19 vaccination on Tuesday.
The float campaign, which is being organised jointly by four clusters of World Vision India including Naoriya Pakhanglakpa, Uripok, Thang-meiband and Sagolband, was flagged off by PHE minister Losii Dikho from Lamboi Khongnangkhong community hall, Uripok AC.
Speaking on the occasion, minister Dikho stressed that though there is still uncertain on when the Covid-19 pandemic will end, everybody should be grateful to scientists and researchers all over the world for producing vaccines to minimise impact from the viral disease and their continuous efforts to ensure safety of the global communities.
He also urged all those who are yet to administer Covid vaccine to get inoculated without any apprehension so as to help save the lives of their near and dear ones from the pandemic.
While noting that World Vision India has been taking up several initiatives for the welfare of the society, Dikho expressed confidence that the campaign will make the people aware about the importance of vaccination in fighting the pandemic.
The flag-off function was also attended by Manipur Sericulture Federation former managing director Thoudam Surjaboro among others.
