Awareness prog on natural disasters held

Thoubal, September 21 2021: 12 Battalion National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) in collaboration with Tengnoupol district adminis tration conducted a 'Community Awareness Programme' on various safety measures to be taken up and ways to aid others during natural calamities at community hall, Tengnoupal village on Tuesday.

Attended by SDO (Tengnoupal) S Surchandra as chief guest, the programme was conducted as part of the ongoing Community Awareness Programme being organised in different parts of Tengnoupal and Machi blocks of the district from September 16 to September 30 .

During the programme, a team of 12 Bn NDRF led by inspector GD Titus demonstrated various safety steps that can be taken up during various natural disasters to help oneself and save others.

The event was also attended by various village chiefs, village authority members and youth club members of Tengnoupal block.
