MAYOL's ethical voting campaign continues

Continuing its 'Vote for National Regeneration' campaign, Manipur Youth League (MAYOL) organised public awareness campaigns for ethical voting at five locations on Tuesday.
According to MAYOL publicity secretary Mayengbam Premananda, the awareness campaigns were held at Nongada Makha Leikai community hall, Moirang Lamkhai Khoyol Keithel, Leimapokpam Mayai Leikai community hall, Keinou Thongthak Awang Leikai and Wangoo Ahallup playground in collaboration with local clubs.
During the campaigns, social scientist Dr Dhanabir Laishram, ERDO secretary Nahakpam Shanta, advocate Sukham Premjit, Prof Chinglen Meisnam and Missing Committee president Rk Bidyalaxmi spoke as resource persons.
On Monay, MAYOL conducted poster and mass awareness campaign at Konthoujam, Top Upokpi, Bashikhong and Andro along with the local clubs and meira paibi groups.
The public meeting concluded with the resolution to participate in the ensuing 18th Lok Sabha Election in a fair and just manner.
Leaflet distribution and poster campaign were also carried out at Wahengbam Leikai Jiri Parking, Hiyangthang and Keithelmanbi.
