NPP condemns violence in state

Imphal, November 27 2024: National Committee of the National People's Party at its meeting on Wednesday at Shillong strongly condemned all forms of violence taking place in the Manipur particularly the brutal and inhumane killing of three women and three children including an eight-month old, and a Hmar woman by armed miscreants.

The meeting also denounced the abduction of one L Kamal of Cachar district at present Loitang Khunou near Leimakhong army camp and further appealed to both central and state governments to make all out efforts to rescue the abducted individual.

Moreover, it also condemned the frequent abductions and attacks on innocent civilians including Naga harvesters and the Muslim (Pangals) drivers plying along the NHs by miscreants.
