NEET counselling seminar kicks off in Thoubal

Imphal, June 15 2024:
Atinga Moirangcha Educational and Research Foundation (AMERF), in collaboration with CENTV, inaugurated a two-day seminar on NEET Counselling 2024 at New Era Higher Secondary School in Thoubal district, on Saturday.
According to a statement of AMERF, on the inaugural day of the seminar, health services deputy director (training) Dr Th Gayatri provided detailed insights into the NEET examination process, emphasising the importance of thorough preparation.
Surendera Dental College and Research Institute, Rajasthan chairman Suraj Aggarwal highlighted his institution's commitment to excellence in dental education and its consultation services.
AMERF education counsellor Joychand Moirangthem offered an in-depth analysis of the NEET examination, advising students on post-selection steps to be taken up and discussing options for studying MBBS abroad for those who are not selected in India.
Manipuri Cultural Academy in Bangladesh vice-president Polash Singha spoke about the similarities in teaching and treatment methods between India and Bangladesh, strengthening the bond between the two nations.
Retired additional director of health services Dr S Manikanta shared his extensive experience in the health sector, providing inspiring anecdotes from his career.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks by AMERF secretary Dr Atom Sunil, who shared his experiences as a NEET Examination Observer and expressed appreciation all speakers and participants for their contributions.
The seminar will continue on Sunday at Prism Academia in Ghari Makha Leikai, Imphal West, at 10 am, with an aim to provide invaluable resources for students, parents, and educators, offering crucial information and support for their educational journeys, the statement added.
