Ukhrul, June 24 2024:
Outraged by the killing of 'Naga soldier' RS Winson recently, the Tangkhul Naga Long (TNL) has issued a stern warning against Kuki National Army (B) .
The TNL vehemently condemned the killing of RS Winson and said it was a dastardly murder and it would be met with befitting response.
It may be mentioned that Naga Army Captain Winson was reportedly killed by KNA (B) somewhere along the Angko Ching Range on the Myanmar side on June 15 .
A press statement released by Sword Vashum, president of TNL, said the Tangkhul community unequivocally condemn the most inhuman murderous acts of the KNA(B) .
"We warn you KNA(B) in no uncertain terms that no such misadventure of heinous crime would be tole- rated and therefore, would be met with befitting response.
"Be mindful; the innocents, the poor and the helpless would only bear the brunt of your blood thirsty misadventure," said the TNL.
It further asserted that the operational conduct of security forces currently deplo- yed in the hypersensitive border area of Kamjong district should be fair to sides concerned.
It said the professional and operational conduct of the security forces shall leave no room for doubt and suspicion, otherwise, it would forfeit people's trust.
