Workshop on implementation of HPC conducted

State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) in collaboration with Rational Assessment Centre (NAC), Performance Assessment, Review and Analysis of Knowledge for Holistic Development (PARAKH), NCERT, New Delhi organised a two-day workshop on 'Implementation of Holistic Progress Card (HPC)' at SCERT Multipurpose Hall, Lamphelpat on Thursday and Friday.
The workshop targets capacity building of the state level, district level, block level and school level functionaries to implement HPC effectively in the schools of the state.
The workshop was inaugurated with key note address by NAC-PARAKH CEO/head professor Indrani Bhaduri who stressed on how HPC helps in transforming the landscape of assessment system.
SCERT director A Romel Singh also urged the participants to improve themselves in the area of competency-based assessment so that assessment can be more continuous and formative.
The workshop was attended by 70 participants from SCERT/DIETs and Department of Education (S), Manipur, who were trained by two resource persons from PARAKH, New Delhi.
The workshop concluded with feedback from the participants.
