Khoupum CSOs flay barbaric act of armed miscreants

Noney, August 17 2024: In a joint press statement, Khoupum Area Civil Society Organisations (CSQs), including Khoupum Area Villages Authority Council (KAVAC), Rongmei Luh Phuam Khoupum Area (RLPKA), and Zeliangrong Students' Union Khoupum Area (ZSUKA) have condemned the barbaric act carried out by suspected armed miscreants at Khoupum Bazar on Friday 9 pm.

The incident disrupted the peace of the law-abiding and innocent public, said the press statement signed jointly by Khoupum Area Village Authority Council (KAVAC) chairman Kahimdai, and Rongmei Luh Phuam Khoupum Area (RLPKA) chairperson Gaisinguangliu Kamei.

The organisations appealed to all underground factions to refrain from such undesirable harassment and inhumane activities in the future.
