New chief of Mantak village coronated

Kakching, April 05 2019: Mangte Kulachand Kom was elected as chief (Khullakpa) of Mantak village, Kakching in a simple coronation function held at his residence today.

The function was attended by assistant chief (Luklakpa) K Cheiraojao Kom; Yupalpa K Manitol Kom; Pakhanglanglakpa M Lakpa Kom; Naharakpa M Aphar Kom; Keirungpa K Atol Kom; Punpu Upa/Urungpa K Samson Kom; Punpu Naipung K Gopal Kom; Tangwa Upa M Lubu Kom; Tangwa Naipang M Sanahongba Kom; Lallupching Upa S Aminao Kom; Lallupching Naipang M Dhiren Kom; authority secretary M Shongneikhel Kom and other villagers.

Pastor, Mantak Baptist Church Rev Sanglien Serto prayed for the well-being of the new chief of Mantak vil�lage and modest gifts were also presented to him by the villagers.

Traditional dance performances and cultural songs marked the celebration along with ceremonial feast.
