Guru Nanak birthday observed at Moreh

Imphal, November 18 2013:
As in other parts of the country and beyond, the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak was also observed by the Gurudwara Committee at the border town Moreh yesterday.
The impressive function was attended by many people belonging to different communities not only in Moreh but also by Sikhs settling in different parts of Myanmar.
For arranging the Langar, 9 Assam Rifle contributed 100 kg of rice, 50 kg of Atta, 48 litres of Milk, 15 kg of Sugar, 20 kg of Dal, etc.
On the occasion, Col Anadi Atreya, CO of 9 Assam Rifle, Moreh also presented gifts and mementos to many public leaders.
