Drug abuse prevention awareness prog held

Kakching, August 17 2024: Under the auspices of National Institute of Social Defence, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India; State Level Co-ordinating Agency (SLCA) Manipur, Singjamei Mathak Chongtham Leikai and Kha Manipur Yoga and Nature Cure Association (KMYNCA), Kakching jointly organised an awareness programme on the theme 'Drug Abuse problem is one of our social problems and need to develop our life skills to cope it' at Wabagai Higher Secondary School on Saturday.

The awareness programme was attended by Kha Manipur Yoga and Nature Cure Association Kakching chief functionary Dr Mayanglambam Rajkumar as chief guest, Wabagai Higher Secondary School principal Mayengbam Bhorot as president while vice-principal Shoibam Jayanta and headmistress Moirangthem Ganga as guests of honour.

SLCA state college co-ordinator A Basantakumar and Hailing Point (IRCA) Kakching project co-ordinator Salam Rameshwar were also present and spoke as resource persons.

A symposium was also organised as a part of the programme.
