Imphal, January 23 2013:
Reacting against the allegation by some politicians who called Naga People's Front (NPF) as an immature political party, Secretary of NPF Manipur State Athuan Abonmai has asserted that NPF is one of the oldest regional political parties in the country recognised by Election Commission of India since 1964 .
As desired by the people, the party has extended to Manipur state in spite of stiff opposition from the communal forces and their Govt.in 2011.As promised, NPF will fight for the cause of the downtrodden people irrespective of cast or creed.
So, it is ironical to note that some ill-will and myopic minded politicians considered NPF as immature political party and such unfounded allegation is uncalled for.
A man who thinks and considered NPF as immature political party himself is too immature.
Criticizing with unnecessary advices to NPF by a mere MLA like a tall leader, knowingly or unknowingly his political position and status is unfortunate.
However, NPF will always well-come any constructive criticism or suggestion from any quarter if it is in positive way, Athuan Abonmai said.
