The Joint Action Committee Against the missing of Md Rohid has blamed the school authority of Hundred Flower School for the missing of the student .The student was thrashed severely by the class teacher and expelled from the class room in the first period.
In a press release the JAC informed that Md Rohid (14) son of Yakub Ali a resident of Golapati Maning Leikai who was studying in class eight was found missing after he was severely thrashed and driven out of the class by the class teacher.
The JAC blamed that due to the severe nature of the dealing meted out to the student by the class teacher the missing has occurred.
They have demanded the school authority to hand over the missing student to his parents by August 24 with a warning that if the school authority fails to hand over the student the JAC would be constrained to launch an agitation along with students' bodies and civil societies of Manipur to demand the handing over of the student, the press release added.
