KNA (I) observes 'Rising Day'

Kuki National Army (I) on Saturday observed its 5th Rising Day at Camp Jangmol Dingpi GHQ with the participation of various village chiefs, CSOs leaders and top ranking officials of the outfit.
A press note signed by Barrack Kuki, Information & Publicity Secretary of the outfit said that top ranking officials of the group including its Chief-in-Command Benny Kuki and Felin Kuki, the Chairman graced the observation attended by others.
Home Secretary of the outfit John Kuki while paying tribute to all the cadres who sacrificed their precious life pointed out that it is the unceasing blessing of the Almighty God that the outfit could successfully and dazzlingly celebrated its 5th Rising Day.
Greeting the people on the occasion, Benny Kuki also paid homage to (L) Nehlun Kipgen, Founder of KNF; (L) Thangkholun Haokip, Founder of KNA; (L).

Kipgen, C-in-C of KNF(MC) apart from various other noted Kuki leaders who sacrificed their precious life after paying tribute and fitting gun salute to the Founder Chief-in-Command of the outfit (L) Lunngam Haokip and other KNA (I) cadres who have lost their lives.
The C-in-C of the outfit called for good governance through unity before stating that it's time the people of Manipur irrespective of caste, creed and religious backg-round govern themselves unitedly and it is now not the time to segregate in respect of caste, community and religion.
Various CSOs leaders and village chiefs also extended their hearty gratitude to the outfit for their tireless efforts in bringing unity and peace among the Kuki nation in particular and the people of Manipur in general while encouraging them in their future responsibility before holding a mass blessing prayer for the outfit said Barrack Kuki.
KNA (I) has categorized its operational area into four division namely Division 1 (Chandel-Ukhrul); Division 2 (Senapati-Sadar Hills- Tamenglong); Division 3 (Churachandpur) and Division 4 (Imphal) .
