Imphal, August 20 2024: Displaced people who are taking shelter at areas under Khonsha Loukon near Leitambi in Bamonkampu, Imphal East have all concerned to allow them to settle there.

Speaking to reporters at Manipur Press Club, Imphal today, on behalf of the displaced people taking shelter at Khonsha Loukon, Sougrakpam ongbi Dhaneshwori clarified that they have been taking shelter at the place with the permission of the youth clubs in the region.

She said any claim otherwise that has been made by Loumi Lup, Kshetrigao Local is unfortunate.

The people taking shelter near the Khonsha Loukon have nowhere else to go, she said appealing to all concerned to allow them to settle at the place.
