Kakching, August 26 2024: With the set aim of preventing artificial flooding in Wabagai AC, MLA Dr Usham Deben led an intensive cleaning of the drainage system in his constituency today.

Inspecting the cleanliness drive, Dr Usham Deben pointed out that due to blocked drains, the areas to the south of Wabagai Kadajit, Wabagai Makha Leikai Ibudhou Pakhangba Maning and homes, paddyfields and fish farms in areas to the east of Wabagai Terapishak have been flooded.

Thus, he sought the help of Citizen Association for Rural Development (CARD) Wabagai and other local clubs from Wabagai Kadajit and Wabagai Terapishak in clearing out the blocked drainage system today.
