Bishnupur, August 20 2024: In commemoration of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi's 80th birth anniversary, Moirang Block Congress Committee observed Sadbhavana Diwas at its Block Office located at Phairembam Leikai, Moirang today.

The observance ceremony was graced by P Sharatchandra Singh, former MLA Moirang; Ithoibi Devi, Seva Dal in-charge, Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee; RK Sakhitombi Devi, president, Bishnupur District Mahila Congress Committee; K Ibochouba Singh, vice president, Moirang Block Congress Committee; N Bina Devi, president, Moirang Block Mahila Congress Committee; Sanahanbi Devi, former Zilla Parishad member and members of the Moirang Block Congress Committee.

Former MLA P Sharatchandra led the gathering in paying floral tributes on the portrait of Rajiv Gandhi.

On the occasion, certificates were issued to many notable women who made significant contributions in various fields for the women community.

In line with the former Prime Minister's vision for a united and developed India, the gathering resolved to build a united and developed Manipur.
