'Khungung Chatse - Go To Village' held with zeal across the state

Imphal, July 11 2018: The 7th phase of 'Khungung Chatse - Go To Village' (GTV) Mission aimed at identifying the eligible and deserving beneficiaries in every corner of the state and delivering government services at their doorstep was held yesterday with maximum participation from the people.

The District Administration Ukhrul organised two GTV Mission camps at Nungshong for 12- Choithar DCC, Ukhrul Sub- Division, and Hoomi village for 12 - Kachai DCC under LM Sub- Division with various line departments present today.

At Nungshong Khullen village, Dr.Harmit Singh Pahuja, Deputy Commissioner led the camp with various line department representatives.

At Hoomi camp, Hon'ble MLA, Chingai AC Shri Khashim Vashum led the function in the presence of ADC Members Shri Mashungam, Shri Kapangpam Zimik, Shri Thanchipem Jagoi, and Shri Thuingahan Pheirim, DLOs and various village authorities.

The villagers were provided monetary benefits, GI sheets, threads for weavers, tarpaulins, LPG connections for the widows.

Domicile, Income certificates, forms of pensions for widows and old age, Agro based materials, tree saplings and medicines and medical checkup among other services.

All together more than 20 administrative line departments each participated at both the site of the camps.

The District Administration Kamjong organised GTV Mission camp at Lungphu Village, Phungyar Sub-Division.

The programme was held with Hon'ble MLA, Shri K.Leishiyo, 43-Phungyar (ST) AC as Chief Guest and Shri Somimayar Awungshi, Member 21-Shingkap DCC, ADC, Ukhrul as Guest of Honour.

The Sub-Divisional Officer, Phungyar Shri K.G.Daigong delivered the introductory speech on the importance, significance and the idea behind the mission.

The Sub-Deputy Collector, Phungyar Sub-Division Smt.

Kasar Chonchui hosted the programme.

Each line Department representatives interacted with the public.

Hon'ble MLA distributed relief materials and housing Materials to the villagers covered under the DCC.

Hon'ble MLA, 43-Phungyar (ST) AC, 18-ADC Member and SDO, Phungyar planted a tree each provided by the Forest Department at the village.13 neighbouring villages participated with 171 people from these villages attending the programme.

The District Administration Tamenglong organised the GTV Mission camps at Dailong Baptist Church compound at Dailong Village.

9 villages namely Dailong, Happy Villa - A, Happy Villa - B, Hougailong, Gadailong, New Salem, Chingkhiuluang, Duithanlong and Khoupilong are covered under the mission.

Shri Ravinder Singh IAS, Deputy Commissioner of Tamenlong graced the program as Chief Guest.

Addressing the people, he said that GTV mission is introduced to reach out to unreached villages, bringing government schemes and benefits to the people at their doorsteps.

8 (Eight) sets of Cooking Gas under Ujjwala Scheme and 12 (Twelve) job cards were also given to the beneficiaries.

Under Chief Minister gi Sotharabasingi Tengbang (CMST) disability screening camp was also conducted by the medical department.

Some of the government departments taking part and explaining the benefits of government schemes and projects to the people were DSWO, MSPDCL, CAF&PD, Forest, Horticulture, PHED, Ujala, Bank, Aadhar, Labour, CSC, Biometric, Fishery, DIC, Handloom, Veterinary, Medical, PWD and SDO/BDO/PO.

More than 500 people attended the program today.

The District Administration Senapati organised GTV Mission at eleven villages namely Maram Mathak Sagei, Maram Makha Sagei, Maram Khullakpa Sagei, Shirong, Lakhamai, Kodom Khullen, Kodom Khavii, Songsong, Kayinu, Kalinamei and Phikomai.

SDO Tadubi organised the camp at Maram Mathak Sagei, SDO Songsong held the camp at Kalinamei and SDO Phaibung organized the camp at Lakhamai.

Altogether more than 800 certificates like ST, Residential, Income, Domicile and Death/ Birth certificates were given to the beneficiaries.

Different departments attended the camps and gave out forms and enrolled beneficiaries in Social welfare departments, CAF and PD, Agriculture, Horticulture and Soil & Conservation, Fisheries department.

DRDA enrolled beneficiaries in PMAY(G) Schemes.

Free medical checkup were provided to the villagers as well as enrolling the villages in the CMHT scheme.

TA & Hills also enrolled the beneficiaries in schemes.

NFSA Scheme and PMYY forms are also given out by CAF & PD.

Free saplings and hybrid seeds and free LED bulbs are also given out to the Villagers.

Aadhaar enrollment and updating of Aadhar Details were also given to the beneficiaries.

The District Administration Churachandpur conducted GTV Mission camps at two different locations today at Tuibong Community Hall under 14-Tuibong DCC and Saikot under 19-Saikot DCC.

About 32 villages/localities were covered at the camp held at Tuibong Community Hall while around 4 villages/localities covered at Saikot.

Various entitlements and benefits were distributed to beneficiaries by departments such as Social Welfare, Medical, Education, ADCC, PHED, ZEO among others during the programme.

Besides, different departments opened enrolment stalls at the venue.

The camps saw many people turning out either to receive benefits or register their names under various schemes.

The District Administration Chandel organised GTV Mission camp at Bollok village under Chakpikarong Sub-division.

The camp was attended by Secretary Revenue /CAF&PD, Government of Manipur, Shri Krishna Kumar, DC Chandel, Shri David Rang SDO Chakpikarong, Shri S.Baite SDO Khengjoi and all District level officers.

The camp witnessed huge turn out as various benefits were delivered on the spot and many registered themselves for various schemes.

The Village Chief and the people appreciated Government for the door step delivery of services.

The District Administration Jiribam organised GTV Mission camp at Jiribam Higher Secondary School covering Municipality Council Ward No.4, 5 and 10.Twenty seven people enrolled today for the scheme benefits under Agriculture, Bank and CAF&PD.

Eleven schemes were delivered today while 16 remained pending.

Forest Department delivered all the twenty nine schemes enrolled today while Home Department also delivered all the nineteen schemes enrolled today.

MAHUD Department also delivered all the 43 enrollement and gave certificates during the camp.

Power/MSPDCL Department also delivered all the 49 cases enrolled today while Revenue Department successfully delivered all 17 cases today.

The District Administration Kakching organised GTV Mission camps at two locations namely Keirak Makha Leikai Community Hall (Keirak GP) under Kakching sub-division and Thongjao Community Hall (Thongjao & Komnao villages) under Waikhong sub-division.

Honb'le MLA Hiyanglam Dr Y Radheshyam visited the camp at Thongjao and distributed benefits of various schemes including Ujjwala, Ration cards, CMHT, tree saplings among others to beneficiaries along with the DC Kakching, Zilla Parishad Member, SDO Waikhong and Pradhans of Waikhong and Arong Nongmaikhong.

More than 600 people attended the camp and availed the various services provided by different government departments.

The ADM, Kakching along with the ZP member, SDO Kakching and Pradhan of Keirak GP distributed benefits at Keirak Makha Leikai to more than 650 beneficiaries.

Nodal Officer GTV Dr.Suhel Akhtar, Additional Chief Secretary along with the District Nodal Officer Shri P Vaiphei, Principal Secretary visited both the GTV camps.

The District Administration Thoubal conducted GTV Mission camps at three different venues in the District.

The camps were held at Multipurpose Community Hall, Thoubal which covered villages of Ward No.8, 9 & 10 of Thoubal Municipal Council, Uyal Ikop Ningthou Laikon which covered the village of Uyal & Wangbal and Salungfam Kangyambam Laibung Community Hall and Chingtam High School Complex which covered the villages of Salungfam, Kangyambam & Kangthokchao.

Education Minister Shri Th.Radhesyam, Deputy Commissioner, Thoubal Smt.

.HRosita and Thoubal Zilla Parishad Adhyaksha attended the camp held at Salungfam Kangyambam Laibung Community Hall.

More than 30 stalls of different departments are opened to attend to the queries of the people.

Weaver Cards, free LPG connection and Chief Minister gi Hakshelgi Tangbang were distributed to the selected beneficiaries.

Free Medical checkup were also held at the camp venues.

Thoubal Forest Division took part in GTV Mission program held at Thoubal and Kakching district at five different villages.

The program was held at Thoubal Achouba, Uyal & Wangbal and Salungpham for Thoubal AC and Keirak and Thongjao & Komnao for Kakching AC.

The main activities were distribution of seedlings and spreading environmental awareness to the villagers.

A total number of 93 beneficiaries were benefitted and 1524 seedlings were distributed on this day.

The District Administration Bishnupur continued GTV Mission programme by opening 3 more camps at Khuleima Laiharaobung, Keinou, Ngaikhong Laiharaobung Community Hall, Ngaikhong Khullen and Saiton Bazar Community Hall, Saiton.

The three camps covered all the Gram Panchayats from Keinou, Ngaikhong and Saiton GP.

Line department officers and banking institutions in the district opened stalls and conducted awareness campaigns on different government programs and schemes.

Forms were also issued for different programs and schemes apart from receiving the complaints.

Disbursement of some of the Government schemes to the beneficiaries was done with SDO/ Nambol, BDO/ Bishnupur CD Block and SDO/ Moirang as officer-in-charge of the camps in their respective sub divisions.

Hon'ble MLA of Oinam AC Shri L Radhakishore, Hon'ble MLA of Kumbi AC Shri Sanasam Bira Singh, Ms Nidhi Keshwani, Secy, PHED and Nodal Officer along with Deputy Commissioner Shri Pawan Yadav visited the camps to make sure that service delivery in the camps are flowed and successful.
