Imphal, November 27 2024: Commemorating the two historic movements waged by women of Manipur against mass exploitation and artificial famine triggered by the British, Nupee Lal Memorial Association Manipur will be organising a month-long observation of 85th Nupi Lan from December 1 to 31, 2024 .

On December 1, the inaugural function - of the month-long observation will be held at the Head Office of Nupee Lal Memorial Association Manipur in Tera Keithel.

On December 12, the Nupee Lal Memorial Association Manipur will perform a drama based on "Nupi Lan", as part of the 85th Nupi Lan Memorial Day observation organised by the Government of Manipur.

The closing ceremony of the month-long Nupi Lan observation will be held at Nupi Lan Memorial Complex on December 31 .

Offering of floral tributes to the great mothers of the State who sacrificed their lives for the cause of the motherland will be the main highlight of the event.
