Imphal, November 27 2024: Meitei Huyen Langion Sintam Shanglen, Satjal Academy (UFO) Angtha Branch observed its 28th raising day today at its branch office located at Yairipok Angtha under Imphal East district.

The event organised by Universal Friendship Organisation (UFO) was attended by Maibam Rajendro, retd Joint Director of Veterinary Department, Manipur, Advocate Khuraijam Kanta Kha-nganba, Dr L Kiran, Asst Professor of DM University and Konthoujam Sanajaoba Kha-nganba, Asst Professor of Nambol Sanoi College as presidium members.

Speaking at the occasion, general secretary of UFO Central Committee Yoihenba Luwang said that, being bom as a Meitei, the objective of the UFO is to revive our extinct etiquettes used by our ancestor, the eating habits, the culture and tradition of meiteis and conserving the indigenous sporting activities.

He continued that even though UFO is not a global organisation, the UFO will work to promote peace in the world.
