Ex ADCs Assn demands for a special Assembly to pass the ADC Bill, 2021

Imphal, October 23 2021: The All Hill Areas Autonomous District Councils, Ex ADCs Association, Manipur has resolved to pursue the State Government to convene a special Assembly session to pass the ADC Bill 2021.The resolution was unanimously taken during a meeting of the association held on October 14 at District Council Bhavan, Imphal, said a press release issued by the association.

The association has also decided not to allow the conduct of DPC before the ADC elections in connection with the ongoing recruitment process in the six ADCs of the State.

Further the association warned to launch democratic agitation if the State Government fails to implement the long pending demand of Ex ADCs/MDCs pension.

During the meeting, a new District level subcommittee was also constituted.
