Free dental camp held

Thoubal, August 20 2024: A free dental camp was held at Heirok Part III Litan Wangma Community Hall organised by Ningol Club in collaboration with ShijaCity Dental Hospital, Keishampat, Sega Road and Kakching as well as Humanity Service Foundation and Youth Development Club, Litan Thongwangma.

Altogether, over a 100 people received dental consultations and treatment at the camp.

Free medicines were also distributed to the patients.

Speaking in this connection, Dr Yambem Menon Singh, Administrator, ShijaCity Dental Hospital assured that similar camps will be organised in the future so that people who could not get away from their farming activities etc to visit the camp today may get other chances.

He encouraged local clubs and organisations in different parts of the State to reach out if they want to conduct such free dental camps in their areas.

Many specialists including orthodontist, pedodontist, prosthodontist, oral and maxillo facial surgeon etc were present at the camp.

Additionally, those who visited today's free dental camp can avail a 15% discount at ShijaCity Dental Hospital Keishampat and Kakching branch, he added.

Meanwhile, Saikhom Ibopishak Meitei, president, Youth Development Club (YDC) thanked the members of Ningol Club and the staff of Shija City Hospital for organising the camp and providing such opportunity to the people to get dental treatments and consultations.
