Trinamool State Unit supports Pranab Mukherjee

Imphal, July 18 2012: In compliance with the decision of party's high command, Trinamool Congress, Manipur State unit has also decided to extend support to Pranab Mukherjee, the UPA candidate for Presidential election.

Informing this to the media, MLA Dr I Ibohalbi, leader of the Legislature Wing of the party, said that all the seven MLAs of Trinamool Congress would cast their votes in favour of Pranab Mukherjee.

A meeting was also reportedly convened at the office chamber of the Chief Minister along with different MLAs of various political parties to discuss the matter today.
