LSTB offers prayers to Ema Loktak Lairembi

Bishnupur, August 17 2024: Lainingthou Sanamahi Temple Board (LSTB) offered prayers and oblations to Ema Loktak Lairembi today led by Maibarel Maisnam Iboba Luwangna.

Prayers were also offered at the shrine of Ema Loktak Lairembi at Ningthoukhong.

According to a statement, the worship ceremony was conducted in connection with the recent deaths of fisher folks at Loktak lake.

The gathering offered prayers for an end to such unfortunate incidents.

The worship ceremony was organised by LSTB in collaboration with Ema Loktak Lairembi Thougallup, Ningthoukhong.

The two organisations also resolved to host similar worship ceremonies on the 12th day of Thawan every year henceforth.
