Imphal, December 15 2024: The Indigenous Youths' Association of Kangleipak (IYAK) has appealed to the staff of Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM) to suspend their pen-down strike in the interest of students who are appearing for the upcoming HSLC examination.

In a release, IYAK said that the strike launched by the staff of BOSEM against the appointment of their Chairman at this crucial time will cause serious inconveniences to students preparing for the examination.

IYAK also asserted that the ongoing crisis in BOSEM is causing a lot of inconveniences for the students, and hindering the process for correcting names, date of birth, etc.

IYAK urged the Government to hear the grievances of the staff and make them resume their duty in the interest of the students.
