Imphal, December 04 2012:
The JAC formed against the missing of Nitin Masih has called an indefinite road blockade along Imphal-Moreh section of NH-2 .
According to a statement issued by the JAC today, agitation would be intensified along with the blockade if no positive response from the Govt in the missing case of Nitin Masih is received by 6 pm of December 6 .
Meanwhile, conveying annoyance at inordinate delay and alleged inactivity of the Government authority in solving the missing case of Nitin Masih, Surendra Masih, father of the missing man, said the failure of the State Government and its machineries in tracing Nitin Masih even after a lapse of 10 days shows that the Government is inefficient.
Addressing a press meet today at Manipur Press Club hall, Surendra Masih criticised the Chief Minister, Home Minister and Government machineries for their inaction in finding his missing son.
Nitin Masih, a lab technician from Indore, who came to join his in-laws at Kakching for Ningol Chakkouba celebration, has been reported missing since Nov 24 from Kakching Lamkhai.
Talking to reporters at the press meet, Naorem (N) Amila (32) w/o Nitin said her husband reached Kakching along with Naorem Nandaraj and his wife Shanti on November 7 .
Amila stayed back in Indore with their 5 years old daughter.
Hearing the news of the disappearance of his husband, Amila and her father-in-law have also come to Manipur.
She appealed all concerned to free her husband while also appealing the Government to secure her husband's release.
Decrying the Government authority for its inaction in tracing Nitin Masih, a member of the JAC formed in connection with the missing of Nitin said the agitation would continue.
