GRC Heingang Block inaugurated

Imphal, November 27 2024: A Gender Resource Centre was inaugurated at Kangla Sangomsang, Heingang Block, Imphal East district on November25.The GRC Heingang Block was opened under the aegis of ITA Women Multipurpose Cooperative Society Ltd (ITA WOMUCOS Ltd), Khurai and promoted by Manipur State Rural Livelihoods Mission (MSRLM) .

The GRC was also promoted by two Cluster Level Federations (CLF) of Heingang Block, said a release issued by ITAWOMUCOS Ltd.

The inaugural function was attended by staff and State Mission Managers of State Mission Management Unit, MSRLM.

Notably, Gender Resource Centre Was opened with the aim to bring about social, economic and legal empowerment of women belonging to the underprivileged sections of society through interventions in the areas like legal rights, economic initiatives, skill building, micro-enterprises, entrepreneurship development and health.
