Lamka, May 30 2011: Zomi Mothers' Association today said it has absolved Khambuang and Hatneilam in the case to attempt to malign the name of the organization following the latter's withdrawal of their complaint letters from Social Welfare Department.

"Considering the efforts made by the duo to withdraw the complaint they have filed to the Child Welfare Committee, Churachandpur and their verbal apology besides a written confession to the ZMA Ghtrs that, they had indeed taken an erroneous step, based on erroneous information, in writing a complaint letter about two of their children/nieces was true", said ZMA release.

"And, assuming that the application to withdraw the complaint they have previously filed, which the Chairman CWC Churachandpur had declined, but was accepted by the Social Welfare Department (Imphal) vide RR No 396 dated 12/05/2011 would formally closed the chapter", it added and declared the absolution of the duo.
