State Left Parties today submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister regarding fuel price rise in the State.
The memorandum signed jointly by CPI(M) Manipur secretary Sarat Salam, CPI Manipur secretary Langol Iboyaima, CPI(M) secretariat member Kshetrimayum Santa and Convenor of Left Co-ordination Committee, L Sotinkumar said that withdrawing of VAT is not an enough measure to give a relief in the high hike of fuel prices.
The memorandum suggested to cut sales tax and duties on petroleum products and curb the hike which burdens the working people and toiling masses of the land locked State.
