CME 2024 held at JNIMS

Midterm CME 2024 on "Recent Advancement in Diagnosis and Clinical Utility" held at JNIMS since Sunday concluded today.
The midterm CME was organised by the Department of Pathology, JNIMS in association with the Manipur Society of Haematology and Transfusion Medicine.
JNIMS Director Dr L Usharani graced the closing function as chief guest.
JNIMS Medical Superintendent Dr Kh Lokeshwar, JNIMS Academics Dean Dr Supriya L and organising chairperson Dr Urmila Thiyam were also seated on the dais as presidium members.
The midterm CME was participated by around 170 participants from JNIMS, RIMS and many private hospitals.
The event's organising secretary RK Banashree said that the Midterm CME 2024 started with a workshop.
Six eminent Haematology and Transfusion Medicine doctors from different parts of India presented papers at the workshop, she said.
Knowledge and ideas shared at the workshop by faculties who came from Chennai, Guwahati, Kolkata and Lucknow would certainly be an enriching experience for Haematology and Transfusion Medicine doctors of Manipur, she said.
Pathologists need to know all the emerging methods of diagnosis, RK Banashree said.
Doctors must know the types of modality which should be applied to different symptoms, she added.
