The apex Zeliangrong body will now be called Zeliangrong Baudi (Assam, Manipur, Nagaland) .
This nomenclature has been unanimously adopted on July 30 at Peren in Nagaland during the 'Zeliangrong General Public Convention'.
Altogether 1332 delegates participated in the Peren convention, according to Zeliangrong Interim Body (ZIB) that had organised the event.
The convention had adopted four resolutions with regard to the Zeliangrong affairs.
The ZIB said that the nomenclature Zeliangrong Baudi has come to be effective from July 30 itself, the day the convention was held.
It is worth noting that for quite sometime now that there had been impasse pertaining to the nomenclature of the Zeliangrong apex body.
The convention also unanimously approved and adopted the 'draft constitution (amendment) 2010 to be the constitution of the Zeliangrong Baudi (Assam, Manipur, Nagaland) .
The convention then appointed D.P Panmei, Kaningbe Neume and T.Mirhu as 'election commission' members to begin the electoral process for the Zeliangrong Baudi (AMN) in order to have its executives in central, states and zones.
The ZIB will continue to have its activities until the regular office of the Zeliangrong Baudi is constituted.
The whole electoral process will of the apex body will be completed in 60 days counting from July 30 .
