New principals installed

Chandel, March 02 2014 : Sng Nelson, MTh and Sr Mancy, MTh, were respectively installed as Principals of Living Hope Bible College, Modi, Chandel and Theophany Christian Academy, Chakpikarong, an institutional project owned and managed by Anal Naga Baptist Association during a simple installation service at Lambung Baptist Church today.

The Living Hope Bible College is located at Modi village, 6-7 km away from the district headquarters town Chandel town along Chandel-Chakpikarong road with its campus surrounded by lush green hills all around.

Inaugurated in October last year, it is a newly established theological study centre, run and managed by a board of members consisting of ANBA staffs and local theologians and educationists.

It is the first and only institution of theological studies in the district with its academic sessions slated to commence from this year.

Sng Nelson, a first class post graduate degree holder in Master of Theology (MTh) from Union Bible Seminary Pune hailed from Lambung village in Chandel district.

He was appointed the first Principal of the college following a recommendation of the college board.

On the other hand, two-three years old Theophany Christian Academy with its location in the heart of Chakpikarong town is a co-educational institute, a project of ANBA.

The school aims to ensure all round development of the students.

Sr Mancey, a resident of Unopat village in Chandel district, was elevated to the post of Headmaster as per the decision of the school board.

A post gradate degree holder in Master of Theology (MTH) from BBBC Bangalore, Mancy has completed one and a half years of rendering service to the nation through this institute.

Executive Secretary of Anal Naga Baptist Association (ANBA) administered the installation service which was attended by President of ANBA, RD Kanthung, Education Secretary of ANBA Kl Sunny Anal, ANBA Women Secretary Ts Premi and Anal Theological Association Secretary Ts Boonson.

Pastors, members and well wishers of the incumbent principals were present in the occasion.
