Only Today
Rojio Usham *
the leaves were greener
the sky wasn't bright
the sun was darker
people weren't rude
everything has changed
everyone was cheerful
I felt loved
All just today, it's a surprise
in this land of vampires
No hue and cry
Not boring, strenuous, vicious
I laughed heartily
Nothing make me worry
I can't realize why
Today, everything became lively
Today may even changed history
Today might fill someone's dry cup.
Is today the day we will be free?
Is only today we use that gun?
Is this the day life begins and end?
No curfew, no blockade today
I wonder why?
Why changed everything today
Wasn't it a dream?
What really happened
I have no clue
But it seems,
today will become every day,
and washed away every dirt.
Today my dear Rain has come.
