Present education system is the best paint for dark future

"If you want to get A1 in exam then buy this printer": this advertisement has defined our present education system. All the beings in every nook and cranny have heard that knowledge cannot be bought but this education system makes us feel that it can be done so. All the student has to submit a project on 'environmental conservation' where they use 1000 A4 sized pages.

Don't they know that it's same as cutting a medium size tree? At the end of the session for disaster management course, the book itself is in a complete disaster. It's same as that. Only 10 out of a million is being educated by this education system. The main reason why they are educated is because they run away from this system.

This education will not compare your yesterday with your today, instead it will compare with the rest. If a child who is supposed to be a great footballer and the one who is supposed to be a great boxer are made to compete in a swimming competition, then both will get drowned and die. The real definition of education is to go after excellence in whatever we do.

But this society have changes it with the definition of literacy. Education not at all happens in classroom. How much things do you learn from class 1 till class 12? So much that we forgot to remember which one to remember right? Education should be something very practical but everything is tight with the big arms of theories in this system.

Even the practical exam that we have is being by hearted before going for the exam. With this system the size of the question mark increases. Learning need a true inspiration to motivate themselves to explore the Pandora. Remember what Horace said "a teacher who is trying to teach without inspiring the pupils with a desire to learn is hammering on cold iron".

We are not supposed to put any force in education but this system forces us many things. Making a small child do homework for 5 subjects in one day is not at all a humanly approach but just hampering the child. It will not help the child to improve in anything accept in handwriting and that too if he is tired then the handwriting may be more worst than before.

Time will come where a student will ask "when a single teacher can't teach us all the subjects then how do you expect me to learn all the subjects?"

Everything is all over the shop. Students must not be taught what to think but how to think? This education system has already given the answers that they are asking too. When we are taught that Red is Red in colour, where is the point in us to think? The real meaning of education is hunger to learn, where is that hunger when everyone is vomiting everything in the exam.

The limit till where we must learn is also being projected by this system. When you ask so many questions in the class, at some point the teacher will say "Out of syllabus".

This education system is chaining a dog in front of KFC. We must let ourselves develop a passion for learning that encourage us for growing instead of chaining us. A student who is studying biochemistry needs at least 1000 rupees for buying the accessories for the practical exam.

What will happen to the student from the poor family? Is the science subject only for rich people? This system teaches you how to be a good slave not a good leader. Leaders are the ones who are not afraid to fail where this system kills so many IIT students just for getting low marks in exam.

So the question here is that of whether leaders are being made or destroyed? Many people took up science as their subjects just because of the job security, why? Are they educating or executing themselves? Answer is within you.

'The root of the education is bitter but it's fruit is sweet'. Do you think this quotation will make the one who got Ph.D. degree and remain jobless happy? A big NO. because he have educated his mind but not his heart. He does not take pride in knowing new things.

He thinks learning is like giving and he should get something in return, he never thought that learning is something that he has gained and no one can take from him. Education is not about how much we have learnt, it's all about how much we can apply. A farmer can be more educated than a Ph.D. degree holder.

All that matter is the application. Let's try to know the real meaning of education, follow the smell which ignites your hunger the most and go for it.
